Seventies Biker Mags and Their INSANE Covers

by:   |   May 15 2015

Being a vintage hoarder with a hard-on for the freedom-riding ’70s, I’ve hunted down many a magazine focusing on that decade’s outsider culture. Although I’ve got some fundamental issues with the biker culture of that time, I still find myself drawn to it. Yes, it was an extremely misogynistic crew of chunky dudes calling their partners “ol’ ladies.” That being said, I can’t deny that those biker mammas defined the term “bad bitch.” They hung out with a rough crew and they held their own. Nothing sums up this sentiment like the covers of these Easyriders magazines. They capture the spirit of these ladies and their fearless-as-fuck lifestyle. They looked damn good being bad.
